Syrian Army successfully broke the blockade of ISIS fighters in another direction in Deir ez-Zor. Together with allied forces, the divisions of the fifth corps of the Syrian Army have approached the southern gate of Deir ez-Zor. Deir ez-Zor is considered the last large stronghold of ISIS in Syria. Humanitarian aid to Deir ez-Zor was delivered exclusively by air, as all the land roads were blocked by the terrorists.
