Telman Kalashyan is detained.
The police have arrested Telman Kalashyan, suspected in the wildly publicized Shamiram massacre in the beginning of August. The law enforcement has found and arrested him between Janfida and Nalbandyan communities. On August 1, an unknown person burst into the funeral hall next to Shamiram community cemetery and started firing irregularly, killing and wounding people. According to preliminary data, the crime was domestically motivated; the crime weapon was a Saiga hunting rifle. Telman Kalashyan is detained. Preliminary investigation is in course.
