Besides Beknazaryan’s portrait, the stamp includes episodes from the first Armenian silent film “Namus” and the first sound film “Pepo”.
Within the framework of Renowned Armenians initiative and Golden Apricot with the participation of the honorary guests of the film festival and famous filmmakers, the release ceremony of the stamp dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Hamo Beknazaryan, the founder of the national filmmaking. Besides Beknazaryan’s portrait, the stamp includes episodes from the first Armenian silent film “Namus” and the first sound film “Pepo”. During the ceremony, the festival organizers awarded the Silver Apricot medal to IDeA foundation, the partner of Golden Apricot.
