From now on in case of visiting Sweden, the Turkish president and his teammates can be arrested.
A group of Swedish lawmakers has filed a complaint against the President of Turkey with the International Prosecutor’s Office in Stockholm. They accuse Erdogan and other leaders of the governing Justice and Development Party in genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, as they classify the actions of the Turkish armed forces in Şırnak, Silopi, Cizre and Sur settlements from July 2015 to December 2016. By Swedish law, Erdogan faces from four years to life in prison. From now on in case of visiting Sweden, the Turkish president and his teammates can be arrested.
