Armenian weightlifters won one gold and two bronze medals in Tokyo’s World Junior Championship.
The Olympic silver-medalist, weightlifter Simon Martirosyan won the World Junior Championship. In 105 kg and over class Martirosyan’s result was 426 kg. The Armenian weightlifter was the strongest in both lifts. In Tokyo’s World Junior Championship Armenian weightlifters won one gold and two bronze medals. Sona Poghosyan and Samvel Gasparyan won the third prize.
