196 out of 463 licenses granted in the mining industry do not function currently. 51 of them have expired licenses. Only 8 of the 28 metal mines are currently operating. The Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources will start studying all of the companies that hold a license, and by July 1st a package of proposals aimed at development the sector will be submitted to government consideration.
