Based on the case of illegal import of Azerbaijani apples into Armenia, charges have been brought against 8 people, 4 of which are SRC officials. Two of the officials are currently arrested.
Based on the case of illegal import of Azerbaijani apples into Armenia, charges have been brought against 8 people, 4 of which are SRC officials. Two of the officials are currently arrested. Special Investigation Service is examining illegal import and bribery of SRC officials in a single case. As it turns out, the customs officers have been accepting bribes on regular basis, in return allowing the import of illegal fruit and vegetable, this way hiding over 8 million AMD taxes and fees.
