First Channel program schedule on the given day also includes a number of movies on Artsakh war, military operations and human relations, among them “Eagle of Getashen: Tatul Krpeyan”, “Tevanik’ and “Don’t Be Afraid”.
“Living is the Best Weapon” will air on May 8, at 18:50: the film is about the most popular music project and producer in Artsakh, who will provide his recollection on Artsakh before and after 1988, particularly what people back then, having gone through so many hardships, needed to feel the spirit of freedom. The projects gathers musicians, to whom living is the best weapon against death.
Another film entitled “Winning the Century” will air on May 9, telling about a 97-year old women from Goris, who partook in World War II. Overcoming the war and life hardships, now she touches upon her past life and her present, her family and grandchildren, who symbolize life and the future.
“Shushi – The Winning Castle City” includes stories on the city’s past, present, the cultural community of Shushi, as well as exclusive strategic positions, presented by the people of Shushi, a city which eventually restored peace.
And, at the end of the day, to sum up the holiday broadcast, First Channel will livestream the First Semi Final of “Eurovision 2017” Song Contest, during which Armenian delegate Artsvik will perform 16th.
The following programs “Early in the Morning”, “Canticle of Canticles”, “Life in a Palm” and “Quotation Marks” will be broadcast in a special holiday format during the above mentioned dates as well.
