Head of Passport and Visa Department of the Police Mnatsakan Bichakhchyan handed in data to “Agenda” program, concerning the number of applications to receive Armenian citizenship as well as those for citizenship renunciation. As of the first quarter of 2017, 1191 people have renounced citizenship, while another 2493 have instead applied for obtaining RA passport.
