British BBC website has posted an article telling about First Christian state.
The article reads “Armenia is a small country in south-west Asia with a population of only 3 million people. But it has a sizable place in spiritual history: most historians believe that in 301 AD, it became the first country in the world to adopt Christianity. Today, around 95 % of Armenians are Christian”.
The article also touches upon Gregory the Illuminator, Garni Temple, which annually has 136 thousand visitors, spiritual capital Vagharshapat, as well as St. Gayane Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, monastery of Geghard, Khor Virap dungeon and Zorats Church.
