Local shoe, leather gloves-bag-belt production will rapidly increase in Armenia pretty soon. Minister of Transport has today accompanied UN industrial experts who have arrived in Yerevan, to former Yerevan leather factory.
Thanks to the investment made by Swiss-Armenian businessman Vardan Sirmakesh, the factory resumed processing and storing animal skin, this way getting attractive leather in the market. The factory is planning to increase jobs from 100 to 700, so as to ensure that all local shoe companies in Armenia receive local leather for further production.
