Today Parliament started work with condemnation of blogger Alexander Lapshin’s extradition. Representatives of all fractions have viewed this act as Azerbaijani political diversion, stating that Armenia’s legislature should express its standpoint over this situation, being major political body.
Head of Republican Party announced Belarus should quit CSTO membership, while ARF and ANC have approved this point instructing the Committee on Foreign Relations to develop a text and submit it to legislature voting. Eduard Sharmazanov, co-chair of Armenian-Belarussian Parliamentary Committee, qualified Lapshin’s extradition as a dirty deal.
