Russians are rushing to buy Armenian products – varying from ArmTab to Apricot jams available at Russian “Premium” and “Eco” stores, while Armenian products can hardly be found at major market chains.
One of the reasons for such a trade paradox is Lars checkpoint, the only overland route that connects Armenia and Russia together. Moscow is currently considering possibility of importing certain products to Russia by means of cargo aircrafts.
