On January 29th, the day that marks the death of Aram Manukayn – founder of First Republic of Armenia, a flash mob was held right in front of his house. By doing so, not only does the Ministry of Culture aim to draw attention onto preservation and appreciation of historical –cultural monument located on 9 Aram street, but to the rest of monuments all over the capital city. Many people have responded to this initiative, yet Armen Amiryan has regretfully noted that residents of Yerevan are expected to be much more active given such an important event.
