Georgia has established an agreement with “Gazprom’, demanding to be paid in cash as transit fee, instead of the previous 10 percent share of Armenian gas. The government has already discussed and adopted the new payment formula sent from Moscow.
Georgia is still willing to receive Russian gas as transit fee, yet “Gazprom” insists on financial payment. Tbilisi was pledged to receive 1000 cubic meters of gas at a lower cost – 185 dollars, instead of former 215.
