On December 25th Russian plane disappeared from radar two minutes after taking off from Sochi, heading for Latakia in Syria. Russian Defense Ministry later announced the plane has crashed into the Black Sea.
Several hypothesis on plane crash are currently being discussed: Russian law enforcement officers flatly denied the primary focus on the crash being terrorism.
