Public TV Company of Armenia entirely refreshes the list of programs to be broadcast on December 31st and the entire holiday week as well. The First Channel will air programs in a holiday format, while for evening TV viewers, there are a number of interesting programs ahead. Starting from New Year, right at the midnight, Public TV will launch a festive concert program, which will provide warm feelings, joyous family celebration and interesting pastime.
During the concert program Armenian singers will perform their popular songs, as well as new premiers. First Channel viewers will be enabled to watch the performances by Armenian delegate at Eurovision 2016 Iveta Mukuchyan, Arhur Grigoryan, Hayko, Razmik Amyan, Alla Levonyan, Zaruhi Babayan, Sona Shahgeldyan, Leyla Saribekyan and others.
While there will be premieres by Erik, Arame, Silva Hakobyan, Armen Grigoryan, Christine Pepelyan and Sona. Watch First Channel to learn the special performances our favorite artists have prepared.
December 31st will start with festive “Early in the Morning” – providing the morning dose for positive and joyful mood. The program will present the start of festive fuss, which will maintain throughout the day.
“The Quality of taste” will receive an expert – Karen Giloyan, who will taste traditional Armenian “blinchik” (beef stuffed pancakes), without knowing who the cook is, and then will assess the taste and quality of the pancakes made by favorite housewives.
“This is How We Live” program will receive “Mer Baky” (Our Yard) film heroes – people who made the film possible. The program will bring together actors, who do not currently live in Yerevan, yet have arrived here particularly for the program shooting.
“Canticle of Canticles”, “Name that Tune” and “Almighty Singer” will also air in a holiday format.
Public TV Company’s program also includes popular Armenian and foreign films, cartoons and concerts. TV viewers can watch New Year theme movies released by 20th Century Fox, Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount in Armenian dubbing, obtained on exclusive rights. The list of films includes – “Harry Potter’s” 8 episodes, “Home Alone”, “Beauty and the Beast” among others.
First Channel has also prepared a surprise for classical music lovers: on January 1st Public TV will livestream Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s festive holiday concert.
