Kochari is the most widespread and preserved traditional dance in Armenia. Previously only men danced Kochari, while today women have joined them. Sgherdi Kochari is the dance common to the province in Western Armenia, carrying the same name. The dance depicts the scene of upward movements and new strength to ram the enemy.
