The Head of the country, who is currently on a working visit to Tavoush region, partook in the solemn opening ceremony of Bagratashen newly built border checkpoint, as well as familiarized with preparatory activities of Armenian-Georgian “Friendship Bridge” construction.
The delegation led by Georgian Prime Minister Grigori Kvirkashvili arrived in Armenia to participate in the opening ceremony. RA President stressed the importance of proper use of the checkpoint upon its launch, provision of quality services in line of modern standards on behalf of relevant bodies, stressing that the checkpoint is the place where one determines an opinion about the country.
