Karen Karapetyan addressed the issue of fines as a result of traffic and parking lot violations, earlier discussed with RA President. The Prime Minister has assigned the Police and Ministry of Justice to ensure problems emerging in this regard.
The Prime Minister has also touched upon antimonopoly issue – issuing a variety of instructions ranging from exercising criminal punishment against officials, who have enriched illegally, as well as expansion of authorities of the Commission of Ethics, and expansion of the list of officials to submit declarations. The Premier has also touched upon the law on banning tobacco and alcohol sales to people under age 18, as well as exercising age restrictions in nightclubs. At the end of the session the Prime Minister made a statement – in terms of reducing gas tariff, not a single penny will be allocated from the state budget for this purpose.
