Because of the snow the traffic on the mountain pass leading to Dilijan suspended for several hours on November 1st. The reason was the heavy traffic caused by tracks. Once it stopped snowing, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Road Police carried out work to resume the traffic along the entire mountain pass.
Out of all the cities of Tavoush region, there was precipitation mostly in Dilijan. The tree branches broke both in the city and on interstate highway. As a result of weather conditions there was electricity cutoff in the city and the neighboring villages. Hundreds of consumers were left without electricity supply both in Dilijan and Berd, which was then restored hours later.
