Still back in his childhood Margar Sedrakyan- a Genocide survivor who grew up at Ashtarak orphanage could easily tell the difference between different types of grapes by their taste and the smell. Margar was 28 when he made his first brandy. This is when he gained the reputation of the finest brandy maker, whose product was considered the first high-quality brandy throughout the USSR.
