World famous singer Cher expressed her admiration on the film “The Promise” telling about the Armenian Genocide. The singer wrote on her Twitter blog: “This night I watched “The Promise”. This is a true story telling about how 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered in 1915. Erdogan pasha, never again, the singer writes.
The film was shot at the initiative of Armenia-American entrepreneur Kirk Kerkorian. The film premiered on September 11 at Toronto International Film Festival.
