Azerbaijan attempted a subversive infiltration at about 23:00-23:30 on October 20th, in the eastern and southern directions of Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
Defense Army units managed to detect the advance of Azerbaijani special troops in time and pushed them back to their initial positions by inflicting casualties.
Defense Army did not sustain losses in time of confrontation. In addition to the subversive infiltration attempts, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime over 50 times by firing in 2800 shots in the direction of Armenian positions. In the southern directions the adversary also used DShK heavy machine gun.
The Defense Army keeps full control on the frontline and is ready to retaliate in case Azerbaijan launches another provocative action.
