Like every year, this year as well the people of Tichvin gathered at the square to honor their memory.
A gravestone was erected in memory of 75th anniversary of Tichvinsky tragedy right on the square near local station. The gravestone is to commemorate the innocent victims of Tichvin city (near Saint Petersburg) bombing of 1941. The monument is particularly in memory of children who fell victim to this tragedy.
