The new government should initiate changes
President Sargsyan today paid a visit to the Government House. The president congratulated the government on the completion of its formation, by expressing confidence that the new government can achieve whatever the former governments failed to. The country leader assured the ministers are not left alone in their highly responsible work, rather they will receive support from all the circles of state structure. By wishing good look to the new executive, the president also stressed the new government should initiate changes - acting as the “engineer”. In response to president’s speech, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan thanked the president on behalf of his team, announcing the new government program will be submitted in the coming days.
One of the agenda issues of today’s government session included Surik Khachatryan’s dismissal from the post of Syunik governor. The newly appointed governor is Vahe Hakobyan who has nothing to do with Vahe Hakobyan who previoulsy held the position.
