The first Armenian plane delivering humanitarian aid to Syria landed at the airbase Hmeimim yesterday evening.
In a statement on their official page on Twitter, the Foreign Ministry says that the Armenian consul arrived at the airport to receive the assistance in person.
Earlier, on September 30th, RA President Serzh Sargsyan had issued an order to send two Armenian humanitarian aircrafts to the country. The decision was made following the terrorist explosions in New Village and Villa - Armenian populated districts in Aleppo, that left 5 Armenians dead and 11 others injured.
