Gyumri, the country’s second city now has a Chalet Gyumri – a modern and interactive museum. The museum hosts the building which was formerly a charitable institution. Every visitor to this museum can familiarize themselves with the history of Gyumri, the everyday life of ordinary people, as well as come to know the rich heritage of the Armenian Highland. The youth who strive to turn this building into a unique place will soon initiate another program to make Gyumri become a more colorful and interesting place to visit.
