At the Armenian-Georgian state borders (Sadakhlo-Bagratashen checkpoint) the Armenian-Georgian working group on the construction of the new bridge on River Debed, today met with representatives of more than 10 companies participating in the construction tender. The meeting was attended by Chinese, Iranian, Armenian and other contractor company representatives, who inspected the construction site and conducted a feasibility study.
The new bridge will have four traffic zones, which will reduce the traffic burden, by improving the quality of freight and passenger transfer services.
Bagratashen checkpoint bridge will start operation in 2018.
