Currently the government will initiate the formation of basis needed for holding a referendum.
Earlier, Sturgeon had announced, following the Brexit, Scotland is automatically left out from the EU, which may not be in line with the opinion of the majority of Scottish population.
As a recap, the independence referendum held in 2014, proved that 45 percent of Scottish population was in favor of leaving the UK.
