The participants of the recent forum on the topic of Artsakh issue launched in Uruguay, have announced the legal basis of Artsakh independence is in line with the provisions of Montevideo Declaration.
Still back in 1933 Uruguay adopted a document that provides the preconditions of formation of an independent state. The forum on Artsakh was attended by senators, lawyers, historians and the former deputy Foreign Minister Belela Herrera. MP Abdala stressed “Our current path will eventually lead to international recognition of Artsakh Independence and freedom.”
Representative of Artsakh in Washington Robert Avetisytan then read the message of President Bako sahakyan. The forum summed up with the adoption of declaration on Artsakh.
