Venice Biennale forum – an international exhibition launched once every two years, is the most famous international art forum. Armenian pavilion was situated right in the heart of Venice, in the territory of Mekhitarist Congregation Holy Cross church yard. The pavilion presented the concept of “Armenity”—a complex and irregularly constructed self-identity of the displaced diaspora of genocide survivors and their ancestors.
