President of "For Sustainable Human Development" NGO Karine Danielyan and environmentalist Silva Adamyan have touched upon the urgent waste processing issue both in the capital city and in the regions in general. Karine Danielyan illustrated example of European companies, which are guided through “zero waste” slogan. The environmentalist singled out Japan as the major waste using country. Karine Danielyan believes, there should be a special area to process the waste. Silva Adamyan noted that the waste has become a major issue not only for residents, but for animals as well, as for Ararat region research results proved the danger plastic bags cause to storks.
