Prior to proceeding to agenda discussion, Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the outcome of anti-corruption struggle study. The cabinet discusses the issue of forming an institutionalized anti-corruption body, whose main function should be the fight against corruption solely, not combining the latter with a series of other functions. Experts have foreseen a detection mechanism to identify the actual owners: the mechanism will be submitted in the near future. The coordination of officials’ revenue and expenditures should also be included in the agenda of cabinet discussions.
