Craft guilds originating from historical Alexandropol back in the 18th century, take a new breath today. The people of Gyumri are still concerned about preserving and disseminating ancient Armenian crafts. Wet felting is a unique and harmonious combination of arts and crafts. The village of Aregnadem in the northern part of the country is giving a second breath to this ancient craft. From now on the community has a felt making guild.
