Armenian delegate at "New Wave 2016” Junior contest Misha (Mikayel Grigoryan) had a brilliant performance taking the second place. Misha received equal points (87) during both performances: 7 out of 8 members of Jury gave maximum points.
Armenian delegate at "New Wave 2016” Junior contest Misha (Mikayel Grigoryan) had a brilliant performance taking the 2nd place. Misha received equal points (87) during both performances: 7 out of 8 members of Jury gave maximum points. Misha performed “Young Karabaghtsi” on the first day, and International hit “Uptown Funk” on the final.
Young MIsha will keep the impressions for a long time, since it is his first international contest. In his final speech Misha invited everyone to Armenia. “I invited them all since I wish they could come and see Armenia and Artsakh, and come to know our culture. I have had a wonderful time in Artek, making new friends, I will remember every single minute spent there”, Misha said.
Founding director of “Voices of Artsakh”, producer Lira Kocharyan says Misha has had his utmost performance during the contest, despite the fact, that he was the youngest contestant. “In addition to taking the second place, we have as well received many invitations, and proposals for cooperation. It is still early to discuss any of them: time will show,” Lira Kocharyan says.
Public TV Company is the official broadcaster for “New Wave 2016” Junior Contest. According to the contest rules, however, TV broadcasting is only available days after the contest.
