By saying so, he meant Clinton’s negative position over the point in Constitution, threatening gun ownership rights. "Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment." His statement, however, resulted in an online backlash, many accusing him of inciting violence. Many political theorists are concerned Trump might have threatened the former Secretary of State by literally hinting at assassination of Hillary Clinton by gun rights supporters.
Trump then announced, he did not intend to call for violence against democrat candidate. “I said pro-2A citizens must organize and get out vote to save our Constitution!”, Donald explains in his Twitter post.
