In the category of 60 kgs, judoist Hovhannes Davtyan held a victory guaranteeing participation in 1/8 finals. However, Davtyan lost to Russian Beslan Mudranov and was withdrawn from further participation. The 20-year-old box fighter from Gyumri Arthur Hovhannisyan lost in the first bout against Spanish Samuel Armona Herrera.
Gymnasts Harutyun Merdinyan and Arthur Davtyan will start performance today.
