RA President Serzh Sargsyan addresses a message to Armenian athlets, who departed for Brasil for participation in the 31st Olympic Games, presidential administration press service informs.
The message mainly reads:
“Dear Olympic athletes,
You are given a wonderful opportunity to honorably present our country in the 31st Olympic Games in Rio starting from August 5th. The Olympic Games unite strong and bold people. Having these characteristic features, you have already received the right to present our country in world’s major Games. It is already a great honor. The only thing now is to succeed in the Olympic stadium and present Armenia to the entire world in a proper manner.”
The president has also touched upon the fact that today’s national team is the most croweded one ever since the country independence, accordingly it can and should develop whatever has already been obtained and win a place at the Olympic podium.
“We do hope you will manage to meet our expectations and will raise our tricolor flag from Brazil. I wish you good luck and a victorious return back home.”
