Russian military helicopter “Mi-8” with five people on board, was shot down in Idlib province, Syria, while carrying humanitarian supplies to Aleppo. 3 of the dead were crew members, the other 2 employees of reconciliation center. The helicopter had departed from Aleppo towards Hmeymim air base.
Hours before helicopter crash, a gunman from “Islamic State” terrorist group had threatened Russian with Jihad, by sending a video message to president Putin, noting they will kill Russians in their houses.
