A memorial plague in memory of Artsakh war hero Sasun Mkrtchyan has been erected in the proximity of one of the military bases near Talish village, Artsakh. The ceremony was attended by Sasun’s relatives and his fellow servicemen.
From the very start of adversary attacks Sasun, a professional scout and machine gunner, had steadily carried out his assignment – taking over the military position, as a result of which he received a mortal wound.
Thanks to precise actions his fellow servicemen continued what Sasun had started and managed to throw the adversary back.
