The sixth International Television Festival, TEFI-Commonwealth, to be held in Yerevan from September 15-18.
With the title “Journalism is our profession” the festival aims to create a joint media platform in the CIS countries, assist in the dissemination of news via broadcasters, as well as promote sustainable cooperation among TV companies and field professionals.
For participation in the festival you are requested to submit a video, which has been streamed throughout CIS countries for the period starting from June 1st 2015 to May 31, 2016. The videos should be regular everyday news broadcasts or parts of news programs (with the maximum duration of 30 minutes) and a final weekly informational-analytical program or a part of it (maximum length 60 minutes). The videos should reflect the latest daily or weekly news, either local or international: there can also be cultural or sports news, including interviews or special reportage.
The language for the videos is Russian (in case a program is a translation, the applicant should provide dubbing and subtitles). The works should be presented as a whole, without any advertisements. In case of violation of the requirements, festival organizers may withdraw the latter at any stage.
The deadline for submission is July 20th.
During the festival there will be screening of some works, followed by discussions and master classes on current issues of modern Television, as well as meetings with media representatives.
The organizer of “TEFI Commonwealth” festival is “Russian TV Academy” in association with Intergovernmental Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation within CIS countries and Council of Public TV Company of Armenia.
