Fire brigades fail to extinguish the fire that broke out in Syunik starting from July 13th. The reason is the wind,that hinders the work. According to the release of Ministry of Emergency Situations the surface of the territory in fire has expanded reaching 200 hectares, 4 out of which belong to Arevik national Park. Over 5 dozens of servicemen, Arevik national Park staff and Meghri city firemen are engaged in the extinguishing process. The fire had broken out in the fields neighboring Araxashen village.
