At around 19 p.m. June 30th,the airplane of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Yerevan from the city of Beslan, Northern Ossetia transferring 51 citizens of Armenia.
At around 19 p.m. June 30th,the airplane of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Yerevan from the city of Beslan, Northern Ossetia transferring 51 citizens of Armenia. Emergency rescuers, medical and psychological staff, as well as informational services provided corresponding assistance to our compatriots arriving at the airport.
Our citizens had also received appropriate support from the Armenian community in Beslan, who provided food and shelters. Three other airplanes arrived in Yerevan the previous night, with passengers on board, who had been waiting at Verin Lars checkpoint due to the landslide.
The Minister of Transport and Communication to RA has paid a visit to Verin Lars to get acquainted with the ongoing situation.
