For the period of 86 years Pairs based “Samuelian” eastern book house has served as a unique place where Armenians used to come together.
The book house was establised in the Latin quarter of Paris In 1930 by the initiative of journalist and orientalist Hrant Samuelian, who, by selling his wife’s dowry, managed to purchase the collection of ancient books belonging to the owner of a huge library, Armenian named Palents from Constantinople.
