The Vicar of Saint Peter is visiting Armenia at the invitation of President of Armenia, Primate of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church and the catholic community. This is, of course, a ceremonial state visit for Armenia –the highest level of interstate visits, yet this is a “pilgrimage.”
