June 16th, 1939 marks the birthday of RA People’s Artist, sculptor Levon Tokmajyan. His first statue was erected in Tumanyan Park, Yerevan in 1973. The statue is dedicated to Tumanyan characters Anoush and Saro from his “Anoush” opera.
