The 65 plenary session of UN General Assembly proclaimed International Day of Friendship on June 9th. The UN suggested state institutions and international organizations to celebrate the day without ignoring culture specific traditions. UN’s idea was to establish friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals and build bridges between communities.
