Today President Serzh Sargsyan met with leaders of EEC member- states in Astana. The session of the Eurasian Economic Union Supreme Council was held in a restricted format, presided over by the President of the host country and President of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union Nursultan Nazarbaev. In the framework of the agenda, the Heads of EEU member states discussed issues related to the further expansion of foreign trade and economic relations of the Union. Later the meeting was held in the extended format, during which the Presidents signed dozens of agreements, among them the concept on the creation of the common EEU market for oil and oil products.
President of Armenia supported the decision to start talks with Serbia on the harmonization of the trade regime with that country, as well as referred to the large scale hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan.
