There are legends about the village of Pokrik Masrik, situated in Gegharkunik region, which dates back to times of Tamerlane (Timurid) era. It is an ancient village populated with new inhabitants, mostly Armenians migrated from Azerbaijan, who have restored the village and built new buildings. The village also has a 13th century chapel – the only place for worship.
